Netra St A1000 and D1000 Disk Arrays Built on the successful Sun StorEdge[tm] A1000 and D1000, the Netra st A1000 and Netra st D1000 are 19"-rack-mount ready and come with either redundant -48V/-60V DC power or redundant AC power. The base model of the Netra st A1000 supports 4x18.2 GB disk drives and support up to 4x36.4 GB drives; the A1000 includes a hardware RAID controller with non-volatile data cache starting at 24MB, and can be upgraded up to 48MB. The base model of Netra st D1000 comes with 4x18.2GB and 4x36.4GB disk drives in High Performance JBOD mode (Just a Bunch of Disks) and supports up to 12x18.2 GB or 12x36.4 GB disk drives. Software RAID may be run with this JBOD array.
