With its small footprint and rack-optimized features, the Sun Fire V100 server is also ideal for customers wanting to extend their existing SPARC/Solaris infrastructure.
This next generation Sun Fire V100 server features a performance boost of up to 30 percent with a 550 MHz or 650 MHz UltraSPARC® IIi processor, up to 2 GB of memory, and 512 KB of Level 2 cache. And most importantly, the next generation Sun Fire V100 server is available at no increase in price.
