Sun Blade 150 Workstation The Sun Blade[tm] 150 workstation offers considerably higher performance with more capabilities than previous Sun[tm] workstations. It's an affordable, full-featured, 64-bit workstation with a 550 MHz or 650 MHz UltraSPARC® IIi CPU, up to 2 GB of RAM, and 2-D/3-D graphics options for multi-display support.

For the price you would expect to pay for a Wintel-based 32-bit PC branded workstation, you can get a 64-bit UNIX® workstation with workstation-class features. What do we mean by workstation-class features? These are the necessary attributes of a powerful computer used for demanding scientific or engineering applications, such as a powerful 64-bit CPU, large memory capacity, high-performance graphics that support multiple displays, and highly integrated I/O connections.
